Politicians openly talk about the prospect of a global community with new words emerging such as ‘global villiage’ to coin a phrase. Conspiracy investigators cry out about the global bankers ruling the world, crashing the economy and the emergence of an Orwellian system to enslave humanity. I can sense some of my readers eyes beginning to glaze over… not another conspiracy theory I hear you cry. Well… not a conspiracy, just a factual comparison. In order to understand where we are in the present day we need to look at our recent history. Has things improved since the 1960’s, has it got worse, are we witnessing a time when our children are becoming better behaved or more disobedient?
Let’s take a look at this recent email I received and you decide.

In conclusion, it is clear from this comparrion that our society is evidenty is taking a turn for the worse. Nonetheless, it should be of no surprise to the Christian sinse this was foretold and thus this New World Order will not last. Never be concerned of the plans of man or that of the god (small g) his days are numbered. Place your fears and concerns at the feet of the Lord who will bring you great comfort and peace. This world has had its troubles for 1000’s of years and it will not ever get better until the Lord returns. In the meantime, be aware of what is happening but do not be afraid. Jesus told us “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.” Mathew 6:34
